Emmaus Veilingkade
With Emmaus Veilingkade we have established a so called 'wood bank', great material that is not being sold in the store and otherwise gets thrown away and burned is now sorted by Emmaus volunteers.
With examples and instruction we try to differentiate between types of wood that can be made in to new products, and wood that has reached the end of its life.
With this partnership we work together to a sustainable use of wastematerial, meanwhile establishing meaningfull connections and social interactions with Emmaus volunteers.
More about Emmaus
"A day well spent"
Every Emmaus store has its own volunteers, who work hard and with fun in the thriftstores. In this way they contribute to a better world, and have a meaningful way to spend their day, and meet new people.
People that in the regular labour market have a slightly lower opportunity, often can start well with Emmaus. This can be a great way to gain some work experience in an enjoyable social surrounding. Also for a (language) internship there is room in the Emmaus stores.
Working in an Emmaus store offers diverse jobs. Volunteers collect goods at peoples homes. They sort among others: clothing, furniture, electronics and store it nice and neatly in the store. Volunteers are also active as board member, handyman, or any other role within the active store.
Some jobs are fysically demanding, for example collecting furniture. For other jobs no, or limited fysical fitness is demanded. Enthousiasm ofcourse is always needed.
Are you interested in joining an Emmaus team? Just pay a visit to one of their stores!

Willemen Parket
Our connection with Willemen Parket is a perfect example of how working together can be sustainable and fun at once.
Both parties enjoy the benefits of a working relation, with Willemen scoring higher sustainability levels, and Crush ClubClimbing receiving the materials we need to create your produts. And that all while having fun doing it.
Material that would otherwise be burnt in the stove is now reclaimed from this process and used to make other products. Just because the material doesn't fit your scope anymore, doesn't mean it couldn't fit others, that is what we learn here.

More about Studio Windii
Hi my name is Tijs, and I love to climb and make art. Yes, it’s that simple! I started bouldering when I was 21 years old and I’ve been hooked ever since. This hobby quickly turned into a lifestyle and has given me the possibilities to travel throughout Europe for it. With my art, I have been drawing for as long as I can remember and was always an essential piece of who I am. Having these two great loves of mine, I was fortunate enough to find a way to combine them and share them with the world. if you’d like to know a little more about me and my background, you can read more here
My work reflects a sense of adventure and exploration that drives me and I hope it inspires you to go out and explore the beautiful planet we live on. My work is predominantly done through digital creation using ProCreate but I have worked with different media throughout my career and I still like to dabble and experiment with other forms of creation.
